By default, simulations have 4 tutorial types in their published output.
- “Auto playback mode” will run the simulation without user interaction.
- “Standard mode” allows the user to interact with the lesson in order to complete it.
- “Self-Test mode” encourages the users to remember the steps needed to complete the task, but offers help if they can’t.
- “Assessment” mode requires the user to remember the steps and will capture and send the score to the uPerform Assessment Performance Report or the LMS of your choice.
Having all these options is great, but what if you don’t want to use them all? You can actually disable them easily in the template! This will allow you to publish simulations tailored to your needs. You can choose to only publish them for use as a reference guide, a way to practice, or even just as a test.
For more information on how to disable and enable these options, please review the following article: How to remove or hide a tutorial type from the published simulation
