More about Masks: Replace Sensitive Info with Example Text

Now that you know you can cover confidential info with a mask, let’s take it one step further. You can also add text over a masked field. This capability can provide better training to your users by creating helpful examples, without the concern of sharing company or personal information.

We have provided two sets of instructions using Microsoft Paint or using uPerform to mask text boxes and cover them with generic information. Using this technique, your end-users will not see empty masked boxes that cause distraction from learning.

To learn more and read the step by step instructions, please see How to enter text over a mask in uPerform Client on the ANCILE Intelligence Hub.
