Check Out the uPerform 5.2 Document Makeover!

With our recent release of ANCILE uPerform 5.2, we’ve made some pretty significant changes.  If you haven’t already, check out our Online Guide to uPerform 5.2 to review the new features we included!  One of those new features we introduced in 5.2 is an updated look and feel in published documents. We’ve highlighted some of the new style changes below in comparison to earlier uPerform versions (in this comparison, we are using uPerform v5).

  • Section Heading  uPerform 5.2 no longer uses the old rectangular block to distinguish the header. Instead, uPerform now incorporates a horizontal rule to differentiate the header, as well as new section name font (by default) for a more modern look.

  • Screenshots  Screen captures from recordings are now indented as part of the steps. The screen caption style has also been changed to be italicized, rather than bolded.

  • Field/Description Table  Field/Description tables now have much larger space and are now indented like screen captures. In addition, the table background header color has been changed to a lighter grey.

Note: These style changes will only apply to documents published using a new template created using the Standard Author Template as a base.  Upgraded templates and new templates created using an upgraded template as a base will use the classic styles.

Do you like the new style so much that you’d like to update your existing documentation?  Be on the lookout for an upcoming White Paper on how to make your older documents look like 5.20 documents!
