What is the difference between a Program Management mentality and a Project Management mentality for uPerform?, asked Brent Binion, North American Services Head to kick off his presentation at Sydney ANCILE iPUG/uPUG. He shared his experience in over 60 customer implementations. Having a Program Management mentality means to have a long term view, utilizing uPerform for ongoing performance support and learning for all IT implementations.
Key functional activities include: managing users and roles, supporting new and current projects, maintaining and deploying uPerform training, and maintaining quality and standards. Several customers shared their experience in the initial implementation and the need to engage stakeholders and decision makers in understanding the business value of using uPerform and extending its use beyond the initial implementation. And in this way they have gained additional budget and resources to sustain uPerform.
